VISA REQUIREMENTS
- Saudi Consulate Application Form
- Filled for each person

- Four Passport Photos (with white background)
- One attached to Visa Form
- Other Three photos print your name on back and place in small envelope
- Passport
- Valid for six months (expires after: July 2008) and have empty pages
- Permanent Resident (if not US citizen)
- Copy of Green Card (Original MUST be with you to come back)
- Vaccination for Meningitis
- Yellow Traveling Vaccination Certification
- Married People with Different last name
- Copy of marriage certificate in English or Arabic
- Women 45 years and above traveling alone
- Need
Letter of Mahram from husband, son, or father allowing permission to travel alone

RESERVATIONS
If you are interested in performing Hajj with the Raleigh Hajj Group, there maybe some seats still available. Please submit the following items to Br. Lebeed Kadhi or Imam at the Islamic Center of Raleigh.
A Check for $1,800 per person payable to Mohsen Mansour
A Check for $100 per person payable to IAR
Completed Raleigh Hajj Application.
Once we determine that space is available, we will confirm your reservation via email.

UMRAH ON ARRIVAL
For this year's hajj, we will be traveling directly to Makkah. It is mandatory to perform Umrah as soon as you reach Makkah. You will have to be in a state of ihram to perform the Umrah. We will explain the rituals of Umrah and the state of ihram at the Hajj workshop.
To be in a state of ihram, you need to be dressed properly.
Men need to make the following preparations:
Purchase good quality, open top, water-proof, plastic Sandals. 
Practise walking large distances in the sandals. You need to become comfortable with sandals before going to Hajj. Gradually start wearing the sandals with socks until you are comfortable walking several miles a day without socks
Purchase one ihram clothing from one of the following websites. Ihram consists of two pieces of cotton towels, approximately 2 x 1 meters. The prices for ihram ranges from $15 to $34. The website advertising Hajj clothing are www.desertstore.com ($16), www.hilalplaza.com($22), www.dar-us-salam.com ($18-$24).
Women should select comfortable ihram clothes. There are no special requirements for ihram attire for women. Women should buy good walking shoes and practive walking large distances.
HAJJ RITUALS AND LOGISTICS WORKSHOPS
- Hajj Rituals and Logistics Workshops will be held after Ramadan. Time an place will be announced later.
