We are nestled between NC State University campus and I-440. Parking during Friday prayers is very limited. To alleviate the parking problem we offer three shifts of Friday prayers. It is highly recommended to car pool during Friday prayers. NC State bus shuttle stops right at our door.

The Islamic Center of Raleigh has two buildings. One building serves as full-time school, "Al Iman School". Al Iman School is a red brick building facing Ligon Street. The masjid is the new white building and you can enter it from either Ligon Street or Atwater Street. The library and the office are located in the masjid. The doors for the masjid are open daily for the five prayers.

The masjid building also has a cafeteria "Al Ma'idah Kitchen" which serves Middle Eastern lunch and dinner daily. The Al Ma'idah kitchen is located on the right hand corner as you enter the premises from Atwater Street.

Directions from Cary or North Raleigh

1. From I-440 take exit 2A Western Boulevard towards NC State University
2. At the first traffic light take a left on Method Road
3. After 0.3 miles take a right on Ligon Street
4. After 0.1 miles take a left on Atwater Street
5. Turn left into the masjid parking lot

Directions from RDU, RTP, or Durham

1. From I-40 East towards Raleigh
2. Take Wade Avenue Exit on I-40
3. After 4 miles turn right on Faircloth Street
4. Faircloth Street becomes Gorman Street after the first traffic light
5. Continue on Gorman Street
6. Turn right on the first traffic light on Ligon Street
7. After 0.3 miles turn right on Atwater Street
8. Turn left into the masjid parking lot

Directions to the Cemetery from the Masjid

1. From the Masjid parking lot take a RIGHT onto Ligon Street
2. At the STOP sign take a LEFT onto Method Road
3. After 0.3 miles take a RIGHT onto Western Boulevard, Stay in the right lane
4. After 0.4 miles take the EXIT on the RIGHT for 440 (North)/INNER BELTLINE
5. After 10.1 miles take EXIT 13B (Rocky Mount) onto 64 East
6. After 9.1 miles take 64 Business (towards 97)
7. After 1.7 miles take a LEFT onto 97 East
8. After 0.1 miles take a LEFT onto Edgemont Road
9. After 2.9 miles take a RIGHT onto Hankinson Road (gravel road)
10. Go straight, for about half a mile, where the gravel road turns to the RIGHT, this will take you to the cemetery's entrance
