Bayyinah Institute: Meaningful Prayer Seminar
The Education Committee is sponsoring a weekend seminar conducted by the Bayyinah Institute from Friday July 10, 2009 to Sunday July 12, 2009.
TITLE
ARS202 Meaningful Prayer: Vocabulary of the Salah
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
This single weekend seminar takes an intricate look at the meaning and beauty of the words uttered in each component of the 5 daily prayers. The program is open to all, with or without background in Arabic. The intent of the program, beyond vocabulary acquisition, is to facilitate concentration and humility for the average Muslim while engaged in prayer. This seminar will be taught by AbdulNasir Jangda, insha Allah.
SCHEDULE
The class will be held on Friday July 10 through Sunday July 12 2009. Class will be held on Friday evening from 7 PM - 10 PM and on Saturday and Sunday from 2 - 9 PM with breaks for prayers and hourly recess.
